LuckByChance was a horrible movie. And luckily, I watched it at home. And by chance, three more turned up for the movie, and thus we saved a fortune. Of-course, I missed the popcorns (with caramel) and the multiplex-environment. After watching this movie, I wondered if Farhan Akhtar could ever star in a comic role. In the two flicks that he has appeared, I have never seen him smile. Though, I liked his acting in Rock On, in LuckByChance, it seemed that he was just carrying over his emotions from his previous film. About the story, I still don’t have a clue what relevance does the title of the movie have with the script. There is just one dialog where there seems to be some connection, but apart from that, I felt, it was just a waste of my precious Saturday time. A full 2 and a half hours of nothing. Anurag Kashyap was probably trying to follow and make a film like Page 3, but he has failed terribly. Except from Farhan Akhtar and Konkana Sen Sharma, nobody else had a prominent visibility in this movie. Well of-course, for a minute or two, Mrs. Dimple Kapadia, Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, MacMohan, Saurabh Shukla tried their best to make me laugh, but it didn’t work out well. I didn’t even realize when the movie ended. Did I miss something in the movie? I would have preferred to watch Victory instead, from the reviews, LuckbyChance was supposed to be a better movie than Victory, but I beg to differ.
